Marc Broman - Owner
Orcas Boat Rentals was established in 1988, originally with a small fleet of 14ft Duroboats (aluminum hulled skiffs). Part of a whale-watching company, this portion was eventually sold to Marc Broman, pictured, with his partner, Natalie Herner. Marc is the Harbormaster at Deer Harbor Marina, and manages the company along with its employees. He originally bought the company with a small bank loan and his only vehicle as collateral. Now with an expanded fleet of modern boats, we offer a truly unique experience here in the San Juan Islands.

Peter Sherman - The Boat Rental Guy
Peter has been with us since 2007, working here as a summer job while getting his degree in Global Business. After he finished school, he has been a fill in employee just for fun, and for the summer of 2014 will be here full time. With plenty of local knowledge of both the waters and fishing, he is a very helpful resource for you enjoying your time out on the water with us!
